Plans for Substack - highlights from my Quora blog for now

Just to say - I’m experimenting with how to use Substack. It’s especially useful for YouTube videos and Instagram as Quora is really buggy for both of those can’t embed them properly.

So I’ll use this for any posts with lots of YouTube videos to embed.

Sadly neither Substack nor Quora embeds tweets properly any more.

Maybe not for every article, originally I thought I’d copy everything over here, but it’s difficult to remember to do it though it’s easy to copy over. And maybe it would be overwhelming to post everything here.

I think for now I’ll use this for highlights. The posts that I’m most asked for or longer posts and such like and ones that have lots of YouTube videos

I’m looking for a new site for my Quora blog. Substack seems good in many ways but not being able to embed tweets is a bit of a drawback when it comes to copying over every post to a new blog.

The big plus is that it is very easy to do. I can just copy / paste the entire Quora page as it is in the editor to Substack and everything just works (apart from the tweets only appearing as URLs).
